Guild Quality is a third-party company Wood Wise employs to take end of project surveys of homeowner satisfaction. Here’s what the owners of the 2019 Remodeling Awards winning projects (kitchen & bathroom) had to say about working with WW designer Kathy Walker on improving their home:

“Kathy was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the process. She is an ace at narrowing the selections so that it is not overwhelming. Also, Kathy is wonderful at listening to our wishes – even when we didn’t agree! We could not be happier with the design work that Wood Wise provided to us.”

We are still celebrating our wins in the Best Kitchen and Best Bathroom categories of the 2019 Remodeling Awards! Here are a couple of photos from the Awards Gala last Thursday evening at the Embassy Suites in Brier Creek. There was an Academy Awards-like atmosphere of secrecy and lots of suspense until the names were announced. Hank Wall, president, walked on stage to receive both trophies for Wood Wise. They are now proudly displayed in our office.

Last night was the long-awaited HBA Remodeling Awards Gala. The area’s top remodelers got dressed up for an evening that celebrates the best in the remodeling industry. With much suspense over who would win in the various categories, the announcements were made. Wood Wise won for Best Bathroom (half bath – under $20,000) and Best Kitchen ($85,000 – $110,000)! We are thrilled and honored. The competition was the stiffest this year that we have ever seen, with lots of entries competing for the coveted awards. A special “thank you” goes out to our homeowners, Mike & Susan Howard, for choosing Wood Wise to remodel their home.

Our Remodeling Awards (STAR awards) entries for 2016-2017 were a beautiful mix of spaces, styles, and finishes. These enjoyable master bathrooms, comfortable porches, and elegant kitchens are timeless:

A treetop-level porch, an elegant master bathroom, a dreamy kitchen, and an outstanding whole house renovation were Wood Wise’s entries in the 2015 STAR Awards. Enjoy the view!

Here is a look at some more of our past entries into the Remodeling Awards (formerly the STAR Awards). These are our 2012 entries that continue to look beautiful and timeless.

Over the years Wood Wise has earned first place in numerous STAR Awards competitions. This year the STAR awards have been renamed the Home Builder Association Remodeling Awards. The competition is the same: HBA Remodeler Council members enter projects in various categories to compete for the coveted first place. A judging panel, made up of builders and architects from outside the area, are brought in to look at design and construction of each project. Winners are announced one evening in August with much excitement for the remodelers, similar to the Academy Awards.

We know that all our projects are award-worthy. Our homeowners tell us as much when they share how much they are enjoying the renovated spaces.  As we enter completed projects into the 2019 HBA Awards and await the judges’ results, let’s look back at some of our past entries:
