Communing with nature

Extending the enjoyable space is a large patio. Because of the homeowners’ love of plants, a plant room is included that features a skylight and potting workbench. With cherry cabinets and beautiful granite countertops, this Wood Wise-designed kitchen with tons of storage is not only practical but pleasing to the eye. The white oak flooring provides comfort underneath the feet and the big island calls friends and family to gather.

The Back Porch

Lots of visitors, a beautiful remodeling project, and wonderful comments helped make this year’s Remodelers Home Tour one of our best. Many features of the kitchen caught the attention of our visitors such as the custom American Cherry checkerboard pattern breakfast bar, the under-mount porcelain coated cast-iron double sink, Verde Butterfly granite, KraftMaid beadboard Cabinets, and more. 2013 REMODELERS HOME TOUR

“Five Points Charmer” is our feature home in this year’s Remodelers Home Tour. With the goal of updating their 90 year old home with a new kitchen, the homeowners asked Wood Wise to help them with the thoughtful design and construction. They achieved their goal of warmth and efficiency without adding on. This is the homeowners’ comment when the project was completed : “We were thrilled with the work done on our home. Beautiful Transformation

Working with our designer Kathy, these homeowners made excellent selections that transformed their tired kitchen into an elegant room. Bamboo floors, Bianco Antico granite countertops, Lyndale Cherry cabinets by KraftMaid, and new appliances come together for a terrific look. Warmer weather calls us to head outside and experience our beautiful North Carolina springtime. What could be better than to enjoy it on this thoughtfully designed all-season porch? The natural stone floor extends from the screened-in porch to the pergola-covered grilling terrace. With a dining area, a stone fireplace with mounted TV, and comfortable seating, these homeowners are ready to gather with friends and family.
Reflecting your style

Beautiful cabinets are at the center of any kitchen or bathroom remodeling project. Wood Wise makes the selection of those cabinets easier by providing our own showroom. Fresh Look

These homeowners wanted an updated and open kitchen, more suited to their active lifestyle. Taking out the wall cabinets that separated the breakfast nook and kitchen instantly expanded the feel of the room. Instead of trying to tie in to the existing oak floors in the adjoining room they chose green bamboo to give a fresh look to their great kitchen.
