    A Bountiful Thanksgiving Kitchen

With an 8’x4’ island, plenty of perimeter countertop workspace, and lots of storage this kitchen is a cook’s dream. The new layout swapped the breakfast area and the kitchen to gain better functionality and improve traffic flow. Floor-to-ceiling cabinets hide the kids’ drop zone and pantry storage.

  • Give Me More Storage!

    Give Me More Storage!

The solution to more storage is often smarter storage. When the homeowner wanted more storage in this full kitchen renovation, careful attention was given during the design to not only increase the amount of storage space but create better organization. KraftMaid cabinets provide functional storage for mixers, spices, cutlery, flatware, cookware – and so much more. The large pantry has a stylish barn door that opens to reveal custom shelving for efficient organization.

  • Classic Refresh

    Classic Refresh

It takes an experienced design-build remodeling team to give a traditional styled kitchen a stylish up-to-the-minute fresh look. Good design and good craftsmanship are essential for an inspiring finished project.

This full kitchen renovation included a new layout that opened the kitchen to the family room by removing the pass-through bar. The large KraftMaid light gray island features a farmhouse sink with gold faucet and cabinet hardware. The perimeter KraftMaid Cornell in soft “Dove White” cabinets extend to the ceiling. The KraftMaid hood and the Thermador six-burner range make an impressive sightline. This remodeled kitchen is functional, easy to live in, and beautiful: all qualities of a kitchen renovation done well.

  • Keeping It Handy

    Keeping It Handy

Wet bars are popular in kitchen and first floor renovations. Having a separate station for beverages helps with kitchen traffic flow and keeps drinks close at hand. Another take on this is the bourbon bar which has become more popular to include.

This bourbon connoisseur homeowner now has the perfect spot for his collection.

  • Home Office

    Home Office

Working from home has gone from being occasional to the norm. Homeowners looking to carve out a private space for the home office often look to underused spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, and bonus rooms.

As part of a larger renovation, Wood Wise helped these homeowners create the perfect home office space from an existing living room with just a few changes. A French door was installed at the living room entrance off the foyer. Custom built-in open shelving and floor to ceiling pantries provide plenty of storage for work-related items. A pocket door provides privacy from the new laundry room. The accent wall of shiplap adds texture and interest. Well-placed recessed lights and new LVP flooring complete the transformation.

  • Uniquely Yours

    Uniquely Yours

One of the privileges of working with homeowners to improve their homes is to see the unique and personal look of each project. This kitchen is a true reflection of the homeowner who defined and refined her look through careful study. Wood Wise designer Kathy Walker helped her with the new layout and advised on selections so the homeowner could achieve the exact look she was after. The results are a stunning kitchen, loaded with details that truly set this kitchen apart.

  • Kitchen Ready

    Kitchen Ready

A new layout that expands the kitchen into the existing dining room was the final winning plan, creating a show-stopping space in this Raleigh home. Wood Wise designer Kathy Walker worked with the homeowners to create the kitchen of their dreams by adding plenty of countertop workspace and cabinets in a functional and good-looking design. The KraftMaid cabinets in Painted Dove White for the uppers and Painted Midnight for the lowers and island give the kitchen a fresh designer look. The gold cabinet pulls and lighting accents set the two-tone look off.
