Kitchen Remodeling
Kitchen remodels require an experienced group of project managers, designers, and subcontractors to complete the job right the first time. We have completed over 300 full kitchen renovations in Raleigh and Cary since 1990.
The Kitchen Design Process
Phase 1: The Big Picture
- Careful measurement to determine the “As-Built” (what you have right now) kitchen plan.
- Three new layout options are created based on your cooking, entertaining, and style preferences. These options may involve enlarging by opening up to an adjoining room or having a new layout within the existing walls.
- Design options are presented to you at our office. Each option comes with an estimated cost.
- Interactive design development begins as you give feedback on the design options. Our designers respond with PDFs incorporating your feedback. As we go back and forth during this process, we help guide you to the final winning plan.
- Final plan is given an updated estimated cost.
Phase 2: Detailed Specifications
- Subcontractors site visit to your home to determine their pricing for building the chosen plan.
- Cabinet, tile, and lighting drawings are created. Our cabinet showroom allows clients to make inch-by-inch decisions to make cabinet wood, finish, door style, and choose among dozens of cabinet convenience features (storage options).
- Fixed price contract with detailed specifications is presented.
Once the contract is signed, our designer makes appointments at the area showrooms and accompanies you, assisting you in choosing intelligently among the multitude of plumbing, tile, countertop, and flooring products.
